“When I was a kid I used to go to my grandfather’s house to watch his huge collection of western movies, it made me go to another world full of cowboys and horses” that is why he decided to focus his life on training horses professionally.
After a few years, in his teens, he decided to take part in a local rodeo contest in Hungary and he lost. “I didn’t practice, and I thought that all what I saw on the movies were enough to do it, but I was wrong and almost I broke my hip and right leg. That experience helped me to improve my skills in rodeo and after that I started to win… well most of the time.” He laughed.
“I focus on riding wild horses, I don’t ride cows, because I don’t train cows. I got my bachelor on Veterinary medicine and horses are my favorite animals, I feel like a wild horse when I’m with them training them or checking their health or hygiene. They are like kids: you need to know how to treat them: with love, respect and of course some discipline.”
This way of seeing his work, made us curious to contact him as a model for DDX UNDRWR as a model and he gave us the inspiration for this western themed photo shoot. “I accept with only one condition: I wanted to work with horses, I feel comfortable in the field, not in a studio posing like a statue.” And you can see it in these photographs.
